Community
Community Service ProjectsThe main objective of a Rotary Club is service in the community, the nation and throughout the world. The Rotary Club of Healdsburg has a legacy of service in these areas going back to its charter year of 1948. The Club also offers financial assistance and volunteer services to many deserving non-profit agencies. Our projects from the fiscal year 2010/2011 included a $10,000 donation to the Rec Park Grandstand Renovation, a $6,000 contribution to the Healthcare Foundation in support of the Healdsburg District Hospital (part of an on-going $30,000 five year commitment) and a $5,000 grant to keep the "My Body is Healthy" program alive and well in our local schools. In addition, the Club funded many other community causes and activities such as:
- Foss Creek cleanup
